FLEXTRADES is a rapidly growing national provider of production solutions, and we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Account Executive to develop a book of business with active customers across the U.S.


As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for calling on manufacturing companies to uncover production challenges and discuss FLEXTRADES’ unique business model for providing labor solutions to manufacturers and logistics providers. You are responsible for sourcing new business clients and job orders from new and existing clients by cultivating relationships, developing accounts, and moving opportunities through the sales pipeline and job order process. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will call, email and network with new and existing client contacts via outreach and follow up to deliver successful deployments and grow your individual book of business.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on average 60+ business-to-business (B2B) sales activities per day. Activities include cold calls, emails, follow up calls, active client check ins, and current client expansion calls.
  • Detail our unique business model that bridges gaps and delivers results for clients by tailoring our value proposition, case studies and examples of previous successes to meet prospects’ individual needs.
  • Qualify new opportunities through prospecting and growing current customers, then progressing these opportunities through our sales process.
  • Conduct web-based presentations.
  • Create and deliver sales materials (presentations, proposals, agreements) and negotiate customized solutions.
  • Answer questions regarding FlexTrades’ solutions, while identifying additional business opportunities.
  • Close business with consistency at or above expected levels to achieve growth through the deployment of FlexTrades' technicians and the addition of new clients to your active book of business.
  • Schedule follow up contact and meetings with pipeline opportunities and manage your customer accounts for expansion to other sites, suppliers and similar or connected prospects.
  • Gather client information and record interaction summaries and details in our CRM, with high degrees of accuracy and consistency.
  • Coordinate with the Technical Solutions and Operational teams to onboard and facilitate successful outcomes for your clients.
  • Manage all existing and new accounts to ensure clients’ needs are met and issues resolved to strengthen our partnership and opportunity for repeat business.
  • Partner with team members to observe interactions throughout the sales cycle and develop your knowledge of FlexTrades’ business, industry and solutions.
  • Develop new and creative ways to obtain additional new business opportunities from your efforts prospecting, working your clients and following up.
  • Demonstrate openness to coaching and eagerness to learn new strategies and tactics to obtain business.
  • Demonstrate a strong drive to win and grow your book of business through new client acquisition as well as expansion of existing accounts.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Associates degree preferred (will consider sales experience in lieu of degree).
