Job Description and Duties
  • Determine with Retail Manager potential retail opportunities. From retail marketing initiatives to local product offering.
  • May work with buying team on product assortment and complementary product to the brand.
  • May work with marketing team on retail marketing calendar, special events & local media etc.
  • The store manager will represent the brand by being a dynamic and inspiring leader possessing a strong background in business management, sales and relationship building skills. The Store Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the store while growing brand awareness locally.
Responsibilities
Set the Tone
  • Create and maintain a warm, welcoming environment by delivering best in class customer service. Lead by example and hold each team member accountable to the same level of service.
  • Establish a goal oriented selling culture that focuses on relationship selling and building a strong client base.
  • Build standard operating procedures with corporate partners and ensure the team is aware of and following set policies.
  • Cultivate a culture of selling by achieving sales plan through means of efficient planning, execution, business analysis and streamlining store processes.
Develop the Business
  • Use your entrepreneurial spirit to proactively seek out marketing opportunities within the community to increase brand awareness and store exposure.
  • Develop business strategies to increase client book sales, increase store traffic and optimize profitability.
  • Frequently use visual merchandising tactics to create newness on the sales floor and in the store windows.
Grow, Manage and Support the Team
  • Create an environment of open dialogue and learning to coach and assist with career development strategies, promoting internal career growth starting with thoughtful hires and clear performance expectations.
  • Manage personnel activities of staff (i.e., hire, train, appraise, reward, motivate, discipline, etc.).
  • Maintain an environment where all associates are treated fairly and with dignity and respect.
  • Establish individual sales goals for associates and supervise sales staff to maximize sales and profit performance.
