Job description

STORE SOLUTIONS REPRESENTATIVE - Vancouver Based

Travel encompasses Vancouver, NE Portland, Longview and SW Washington up to Grays Harbor County. All expenses are paid. Position will use company vehicle. 30% overnight travel.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, four 10-hr shifts. Three day weekends always. The purpose of the Store Solutions Representative is to carry out each project assigned in a professional manner to enhance the customers store and their ability to sell more products through the utilization of merchandising and company planograms. The Store Solutions Rep will ensure that everything possible is done at each customer location to offer the appearance and organization required by company standards. Store Solutions Representatives reset stores, implement planograms, adjust shelving, install shelf tags and face product in addition to the duties and requirements below.

Pay: $21-25.50 per hour + OT.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Reset stores, implement planograms, adjust shelving, and install shelf tags.
  • Perform merchandising services at store level as requested and scheduled by RSM.
  • Provide merchandising, stocking, pricing, shelf facing, stock rotating, and cleaning of product and shelves as needed; rearranges shelving, rack implementation and product displays as needed.
  • Monitors potential account problems at the store level and reports issues to the Territory Sales Manager/RSM.
  • May place order for entire store (all categories.); May put away customers’ order when necessary.
  • Light sales of promotional book or contest involvement.
  • Increase sales and gross profit within assigned customer base.
  • Maintain a safe work environment in the stores.
  • Follow carefully the standards and organization in all sets of product as outlined by company standards.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to read and write English.
  • Must possess basic math skills.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Ability to follow written instructions.

Education and Experience:

  • Customer service experience required with stable work history.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience in merchandising, sales and retail work in a field or route environment experience highly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • This can be a physical job requiring occasional lift/carrying of 20-50 pounds

Although a company vehicle is used in this role, all final candidates must successfully pass a drug screen, criminal background check and MVR report for insurance purposes. Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.
