Description of Duties

Title: Store Manager
Classification: Exempt
Salary: $90k - $100k
Location: Dallas, TX

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Leadership
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive business and support new initiatives.
  • Abide and enforce company policies to maintain a safe environment for customers and team.
  • Interface with all levels of management and associates in a manner that promotes learning and respect and ensures a positive work environment through recognition and motivation.
  • Serve as a mentor and leader to the sales team and delegate responsibilities to the sales staff, fostering development opportunities and addressing performance gaps.
  • Effectively implement policies and procedures and manage daily operations to maximize payroll efficiency, and demonstrate shop ownership.
  • Operate business profitably and minimize the potential for loss.
  • Actively participate in the hiring process and manage/oversee daily activities of any/all Sales Associates, Keyholders and Assistant Store Managers; approves time off requests and timesheets for any/all Sales Associates, Keyholders and Assistant Store Managers.
  • Perform quarterly reviews for any/all Sales Associates, Keyholders and Assistant Store Managers. Has the authority to make recommendations regarding the advancement or promotion of team members.
Customer Service
  • Deliver an exceptional, personalized client experience by leading with extraordinary service on the sales floor, greeting customers in a timely and engaging manner, and providing expert styling advice that reflects the brand's aesthetic, and demonstrating in-depth product knowledge.
  • Drive business growth and meet sales and productivity goals, as an individual and as part of the store team, by proactively addressing customer needs and preferences, and addressing customer complaints should they arise.
  • Manage the client book and effectively train the team in building and maintaining client relationships.
General
  • Work in partnership with corporate to manage and execute weekly reorders/transfers.
  • Oversee monthly inventory counts in an effort to protect store assets and inventory, and maintain an understanding of receiving and processing of merchandise.
  • Arrive on time and floor ready with a professional presence in line with the Dôen brand
  • Collaborate with the Visual Manager to execute seasonal product launches and maintain a visually compelling, clean, and organized store environment, including the backstock area, in alignment with visual standards.
  • Respond promptly to internal and external communication.
  • Perform daily operations and closing procedures including monthly paperwork and reconciliation.
  • Proactively ensure the store is well-maintained and operating efficiently at all times.
  • Understand and follow employee handbook and company guidelines including but not limited to core values, dress code guidelines and customer service guidelines.
  • Process sales and returns through the pos systems with accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing a fashion retail environment, luxury retail preferred
  • Degree preferred but not mandatory
  • Must have experience managing a cash drawer, reconciling cash receipts and experience performing all duties associated with end of day closing
  • Understanding of reporting and analytics, with strong computer literacy, data entry and data processing skills
  • Ability to manage processes and identify procedural gaps
  • Ability to manage team members effectively, and multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize between company and individual challenges
  • Energetic, confident, and adaptable personality with strong leadership, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; detail-oriented
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
  • High technological competency; experience with NetSuite, Shopify and Gladly desired
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to move through a store for most of a shift to help customers and accomplish assigned task
  • Efficiently and accurately process sales transactions using the POS register system
  • Verbal and written communication with others
  • Able to walk, sit and stand for long periods of time
  • Able to operate equipment such as computers, copy machines, phones
  • Must be able to access various areas of a given location and lift/move/push/pull objects up to 25lbs minimum including fixtures and product

Effectively and consistently communicates contract and compliance directives to staff. Encourages interactive discussions and maintains an open-door policy. Ensures that staff are properly informed about matters relating to the company.
