Are you ready to join an award winning residential design firm Morrison Interiors? Morrison interiors isseeking a Junior Designer to Join our design team.


A Junior Designer has been working with an Interior Design firm for 3-5 years and has experience in all facets of new construction. Developing spec books, spacial planning, drawing elevations and selecting furniture, fabrics and materials are all common practice. A Junior designer has the capabilities and experience to perform any design task with minimal direction from a Senior Designer. A Junior designer is fine tuning the technical skills and developing a "polished voice" by presenting individual spaces to clients.


Job requirements, skills and experience:


Client Management


  • Ready to start presenting individual spaces to clients
  • Assist Senior Designer with notes and recaps


Technical Skills


  • Exposure to the full design process from concept, schematic and design phase to construction documentation
  • Proficient in Autocad, Sketchup, Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Proficient in creating project documentation and visual presentations
  • Draft construction documents including elevations, reflected ceiling plans, finish schedules and specifications
  • Assemble spec books for clients, architects, and builders
