Job Summary

Under the guidance of our shop leadership, you will be the backbone of our local operations. You’ll conduct high-level repairs and preventative maintenance on both Diesel and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles, ensuring our fleet remains safe, efficient, and sustainable for the communities we serve.

What You’ll Do (Essential Functions)

  • Diagnose & Repair: Use advanced electronic diagnostics to troubleshoot and fix engine components, emission systems, and electrical/hydraulic equipment.

  • Safety First: Perform critical DOT and brake inspections to ensure every truck leaving the yard is 100% safe.

  • Precision Maintenance: Maintain steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and brake systems; perform A/C repairs and engine tuning.

  • Test & Verify: Take the wheel for diagnostic test drives to confirm repairs are solid.

  • Grow Your Skills: Participate in ongoing training and development to stay ahead of industry tech.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in Diesel/CNG maintenance.

  • Credentials: You must have a Brake Safety Certificate and 609 A/C System Certification.

  • License: A Class A or B CDL is preferred (or the ability to obtain one within your first 6 months—we’ll help you get there!).

  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using diagnostic software and basic computer systems for work orders.

  • Compliance: Solid understanding of DOT and OSHA regulations.

  • Physical Readiness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 100 lbs, and work in a dynamic shop environment.
