Maintenance Technician


We're looking for a highly skilled Maintenance Technician with a minimum of four years of training as a boiler/solvent recovery operator to join our Dodge county client’s team. If you have a solid background in industrial maintenance, a knack for operating complex equipment, and a commitment to safety and efficiency, we want to hear from you.


Position –Maintenance Technician

Job Location –Lomira, WI

Starting Date –ASAP

Employment Term –Direct Hire

Employment Type –Full time

Work Hours (Shift) – Rotating 12 hour shifts

Starting Pay –$25 to $45 based on experience

Benefits –Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus

Required Education –High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience –At least 4 years of experience


As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of critical plant equipment.


Responsibilities

  • Boiler and Plant Operations: Independently operate, adjust, and perform start-ups and shutdowns of boiler room equipment, including boilers, de-aerators, pumps, water softeners, and reverse osmosis units.
  • System Management: Operate and maintain solvent recovery systems, as well as plant HPA, LPA, and vacuum equipment.
  • Water Treatment: Conduct water testing and chemical treatment for both boilers and cooling towers.
  • Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including repairing pumps and piping, repacking valves, and replacing seals.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Keep accurate equipment logs, generate reports for the EPA, and monitor the facility's fire protection system.
  • Chilled Water & Cooling: Operate and control the chilled water system for plant chillers and manage cooling towers.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on training as a boiler/solvent recovery operator.
  • Proven ability to operate and maintain equipment such as boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, and various pumps.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to keeping precise equipment logs and reports.
  • Familiarity with EPA reporting standards.
