This role is responsible for managing technicians, driving service revenue, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting business growth. A growing commercial HVAC services organization is expanding into the Houston market and is seeking a Mechanical Service Manager to help lead and grow its service operations.
This role blends leadership, field support, and business ownership—ideal for someone who can develop technicians, support service growth, and bring structure to a fast-moving environment. You’ll play a key role in building a strong service team while ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across customers.

What You’ll Do- Lead day-to-day service operations across technicians and field activity
- Support and develop service technicians (training, coaching, accountability)
- Drive consistent service delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Partner with sales and estimating to support service and project opportunities
- Help identify and grow service revenue within existing accounts
- Manage scheduling, workload, and field productivity
- Support troubleshooting on complex HVAC systems (RTUs, chillers, boilers, etc.)
- Act as a point of escalation for key customers and service issues
- Bring structure and consistency to service operations as the team grows
Experience & Background- 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
- 2+ years in a leadership role (foreman, supervisor, service manager, etc.)
- Strong working knowledge of commercial systems (RTUs to chillers and more)
- Experience leading technicians in a service-driven environment
