Job Description:

Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Milwaukee! This role will be going to and servicing various commercial properties in the greater Milwaukee area.

Our Maintenance Engineers are responsible for executing and complete preventative maintenance, demand repairs, general repairs and adjustments to building systems, equipment and fixtures as required to the satisfaction of tenant and building owners.

Some things you can expect to do:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building equipment and systems.
  • Perform or oversee general building systems operations, including boiler, mechanical electrical, plumbing, fire life safety, and elevators.
  • Coordinate and oversee vendor work.
  • Perform general repairs/adjustments to building systems, lighting, and plumbing.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have general maintenance experience in the operation of commercial buildings and equipment.
  • High School Degree or equivalent.
  • Participate in on-call, after-hours and weekend rotation.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a helpful attitude when interacting with building occupants.
  • Valid driver's license, clear driving record, basic knowledge of computer applications and ability to lift 100 lbs.
  • Ability to work from a ladder, work overhead, smell smoke and other chemicals and be able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions.

You will really stand out if you have:

  • Have a boiler operator license
  • Have a knowledge of HVAC systems and ability to make needed adjustments and general repairs.
  • Microsoft 365 Software experience.
  • Experience in healthcare environments
