Step into the role of a Boiler Operator, where you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining the boilers that provide steam and hot water for our facility. You'll monitor the boiler systems, adjust controls as needed, and ensure everything runs smoothly. This role is a permanent full-time position working Monday through Friday.

What you will do as a Boiler Operator:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor the boilers to ensure they provide the correct steam and hot water levels.
  • Regularly check the pressure, temperature, and water levels to ensure they meet the desired standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on the boilers to keep them running efficiently and address any issues as they arise.
  • Adjust the boiler's controls to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate logs of boiler operations, including pressure, temperature, and any adjustments made during the process.
  • Inspect the boiler system regularly to ensure it meets company and industry standards.
  • Follow all safety protocols and ensure that the boiler area is always kept safe and clean.
  • Safely and efficiently operate any necessary equipment to support boiler operations.

Experience and skills that will help you stand out:

  • Previous experience working as a Boiler Operator or in a similar role in an industrial facility is a plus.
  • Good understanding of boiler operation and maintenance processes, along with strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to monitor the boiler systems closely and adjust as needed to ensure top-quality results.
  • Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment, including standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in hot and humid conditions.
