Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality installations of water heaters, water lines, drains, sewer and gas lines systems
  • Perform system diagnostics and identify installation or replacement needs
  • Complete installations that meet all local codes and company quality standardsds
  • Maintain jobsite safety, organization, and team productivity
  • Use various plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, monometers, etc.)
  • Clearly & professionally communicate installation details and recommendations to homeowners
  • Prepare accurate job documentation, estimates, and service notes
  • Work collaboratively with apprentices, teammates, and management
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 2+ years of residential plumbing installation experience
  • Previous experience as residential plumber
  • Experience with re-pipes, drain/sewer systems, water heaters, and residential plumbing installations
  • Knowledge of boiler piping, circulator pumps, expansion tanks, and zone valves preferred
  • Proficient with PEX, copper, PVC, ABS, and cast iron piping
  • Knowledge of local plumbing and mechanical codes
  • Journeyman license is a plus
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to work cohesively with team members, apprentices, and management
  • Strong communication and professionalism with customers and team members

Work Environment:

Works in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust. Reasonable accommodations may be made to perform essential functions.
