About the Role

Embedded Systems Engineer

  • Design and implement RTL and software for embedded devices, embedded processors, and systems from requirements to prototype, production, and deployment
  • Design, develop, code, test, and debug system software
  • Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources
  • Interface with hardware design and development
  • Document design process and the resulting system, as well as report system results
  • Support customers in the integration and deployment of the systems
  • Develop hardware design (schematic, PCB) and participate in design reviews.
Requirements
  • BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience as an embedded systems engineer with e xperience with Verilog for synthesis and simulation
  • Significant experience with lab equipment (oscilloscope, multi-meters, etc.)
  • Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets
  • Experience programming microcontrollers and other applications
  • Experience with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review
  • Proven ability to read schematics and component data sheets
  • Strong experience in FPGA design flow (synthesis, simulation, debugging) using LiberoSoc and Vivado, synthesis, and simulation
  • Experience with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review
  • Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces, and hardware subsystems
  • Strong desire to work with hardware and experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets.
