Supply Chain Contracts & Sourcing Functional Excellence is seeking a highly motivated individual (Level 3 or Level 4) to join the Supply Chain Contract Negotiation Support (CNS) team and the Aftermarket Deal Team (ADT). This individual must be willing to work in a fluid and challenging environment. This position in Everett, Washington requires individuals to understand contract terms, processes and compliance, and experience communicating at an executive and organizational level; yet have the ability to think outside of the box to find creative solutions to contracting problems that both protect the enterprise and enable the business. This role will also require a strong ability to instruct and transfer your knowledge to others in the organization. The ideal candidate is skilled at educating peers on Boeing contract terms, preparing teams for supplier negotiations, and getting directly involved in supplier negotiations when required. This position will provide an opportunity to work closely with leaders within multiple business units and sourcing teams.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintains pro forma documents in alignment with program tenets and objectives.

  • Lead training in-person and engage in mentoring activities to promote core Procurement Agent (PA) effectiveness and understanding.

  • Provide contract terms and conditions negotiation support; including internal and external executive engagements. Draft training materials and course objectives to inform the Contracts PAs regarding various areas of need, including limitation of liability, change of control, and many other areas of focus.

  • Provide guidance and support on contractual enforcement and understanding.

  • Develop procurement and supply chain solutions, strategies and policies to support customer requirements.

  • Supports stakeholder inquiries and requests for support.

  • Integrate various stakeholders for communication, strategy, and other alignment.

  • Consults on proposal analyses and development of negotiation strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management

  • 5+ years of experience with Procurement and Supply Chain processes

  • 5+ years of experience drafting and negotiating contractual agreements

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners

Preferred Qualifications: (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 7+ years of experience with Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Supply Chain Contracting

  • 7+ years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management

  • 7+ years of experience with Procurement and Supply Chain processes

  • 7+ years of experience drafting and negotiating contractual agreements

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams

  • Juris Doctor, MBA, or other relevant advanced degree

  • Strong organizational and technical skills

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Experience training others

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Typical Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience, a Juris Doctorate or Master's degree and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
