Product Review Engineers ( Entry and Associate Level)

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Entry and Associate-level Product Review Engineers to join the C-17 Liaison Engineering Team located in San Antonio, TX

We are seeking proactive, hands-on individuals who are eager to go beyond the desk and into the maintenance line to gain firsthand understanding of issues and help drive timely resolution.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with production personnel, build strong communication skills, and contribute directly to solving real-world challenges.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site engineering support at the aircraft maintenance location. This includes, but not limited to the development of technical solutions, development of engineering data, and acting as a principle point of contact for internal and external customers.

  • Provide steadfast technical support around diagnosing and resolving issues encountered in the aircraft maintenance operations, on-time with high quality.

  • Support with reviewing defect and damage conditions; establish root cause and provide acceptable disposition instructions that are innovative, thorough and practical.

  • Participate in status meetings and technical reviews, support monthly metrics development and submittals.

  • Support by driving efficiency in the aircraft maintenance operations by steadfast collaboration with design, manufacturing, and stress counterparts. Support trade studies, design improvements, and optimization efforts.

  • Ensure customer compliance with Boeing standards.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of higher education and/or related work experience. (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)

  • Experience in an engineering role

  • Experience in reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and problem-solving abilities

  • Experience with Delegation of Engineering Authority / Material Review Board / Liaison Engineering (DEA / MRB / LE) Authority, including participating in Material Review Board

  • Universal Product Review certification

  • Experience with applying knowledge of design principles to assess and resolve product issues through the product lifecycle

  • Experience with developing dispositions for aircraft non-conformances

  • Experience with military or commercial derivative aircraft: design, analysis, manufacturing, assembly, integration, test, delivery and fleet support

  • Experience with working in a cross-functional environment and/or business unit teams

  • Experience with customer interface experience
