Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical condition and understand their symptoms and medical history.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction through comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans that cater to each patient's unique needs.
• Educate patients on proper therapeutic exercise techniques and demonstrate exercises that enhance recovery and movement efficiency.
• Utilize hands-on techniques such as manual therapy, stimulation, or massage to promote healing and alleviate pain.
• Assist patients in the effective use of rehabilitation equipment, including wheelchairs and walkers, ensuring safety and confidence in mobility.
• Carefully document patient progress and maintain accurate records, detailing personal health goals and treatment effectiveness.
• Provide guidance to patients and their families on in-home therapeutic exercises and treatments to aid in recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population encompasses individuals of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric, addressing a variety of conditions that may require physical therapy intervention. Whether treating sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, or chronic pain disorders, our therapists are trained to design intervention strategies that promote recovery and enhance quality of life. Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of Virginia.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency in using computer systems for patient documentation and practice management.
• A motivation for flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in outpatient physical therapy.
• A background in pediatric therapy, manual therapy, or sports rehabilitation can be an advantage.
• Experience in evidence-based practices and patient-centered care approaches.

Compensation and Benefits
