New Tech Global Staffing is currently seeking a Body shop Painter for a client located in Conroe, TX to join our team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: First Shift – Monday through Friday (Daytime Hours)
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Summary:

Responsible for preparing and painting vehicles or industrial equipment to restore them to pre-accident condition or enhance their appearance. This role requires expertise in surface preparation, color matching, and the use of various painting tools and techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and priming.
  • Mix and match paint colors to ensure accurate application.
  • Apply paint using spray guns and other equipment in a controlled environment.
  • Inspect finished work for quality and ensure it meets industry standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including paint booths and tools.
  • Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment.
  • Collaborate with technicians and estimators to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Perform touch-ups and refinishing as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive or industrial painting.
  • Proficiency with spray guns, sanding tools, and paint mixing systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations related to painting.
  • ASE or I-CAR certification is a plus.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a paint booth environment with protective gear.
