Position Overview

Body and Spine PT is looking to hire a dedicated and knowledgeable Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist to enhance our comprehensive rehabilitation services in Henderson, Nevada. This role focuses on delivering high-quality care to our patients as they recover from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or manage chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

As a Full-Time Physical Therapist at Body and Spine PT, your role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Assessing and diagnosing patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions through thorough evaluations.
  • Creating and implementing customized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices to address specific patient needs.
  • Utilizing a blend of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to facilitate recovery and enhance physical capabilities.
  • Educating patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and effective strategies for managing their conditions.
  • Collaborating closely with orthopedic physicians, physician assistants, and the medical team to ensure cohesive patient care.
  • Regularly monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatment modalities as necessary, and documenting outcomes in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
  • Staying current with ongoing professional development and advancements in the field of physical therapy to provide the best possible care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, including sports-related injuries, postoperative rehabilitation, and chronic orthopedic pain syndromes. You will engage with a diverse demographic, providing personalized care and fostering long-term patient relationships.

Qualifications
  • Valid Physical Therapy license issued in the state of Nevada.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or outpatient therapy setting is required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on building rapport with patients and their families.
  • Ability to develop and execute individualized treatment plans that align with the latest clinical guidelines.
  • A compassionate, patient-centric approach, demonstrating a commitment to empowering patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of an integrated healthcare team.
Preferred Experience

Prior experience in an orthopedic-focused clinic or substantial knowledge of orthopedic conditions and their rehabilitation is highly desired. Familiarity with EMR systems and previous roles involving collaborative therapy teams will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
