SummaryJoin our Service Division as a Body Tech Helper, supporting senior technicians with mechanical and bodywork tasks. You'll assist with disassembly, surface prep, reinstallation of body panels, and light mechanical repairs during vehicle restoration, especially for emergency response vehicles.

Our Service Division spans 27 locations across the U.S., from Nevada to Tennessee. We provide full-service repair, maintenance, and collision work-often bumper-to-bumper-including brake service and engine overhauls. Our factory-certified technicians receive ongoing training and have the tools needed to restore vehicles quickly and professionally.
From minor dents to full refurbishments, we deliver reliable, high-quality repairs for all brands of emergency vehicles, helping our customers get back in service fast.
Duties and Responsibilities- Perform tasks related to vehicle disassembly and reassembly with minimal supervision
- Support mechanical work such as removing/replacing lights, bumpers, interior panels, mirrors, etc.
- Prep panels by sanding, grinding, or cleaning surfaces to finish paint work and blending
- Help align and install replacement body panels and parts
- Perform electrical repairs
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and tools
- Follow all safety procedures and company protocols
- Assist with documenting job progress and parts tracking
Qualifications - Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of vehicle body repair and basic mechanical skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with wet sanding, buffing, or emergency vehicles is an asset
Education and/or Experience- High School Diploma or GED
- Formal Training and/or Trade School Training Preferred
- 3 to 5 years of body shop experience strongly preferred
- Valid Driver's License

The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
