Job description

Selkirk GM's body shop, Certified Collision Centre seeking a skilled Bodyshop Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repairs, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform collision and body repairs on various makes and models of vehicles, adhering to manufacturer and industry standards.

Assess and repair structural damage using specialized tools and equipment.

Replace or repair damaged panels, frames, and other vehicle components.

Conduct welding, sanding, and refinishing to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition.

Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality guidelines.

Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely and efficient service.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety and environmental protocols.

Qualifications:

Red Seal Certification as an Automotive Bodyshop Technician 

Experience in an automotive bodyshop environment.

Proficiency in modern repair techniques, including aluminum and advanced materials.

Familiarity with computerized estimating and repair systems.

Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.

Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid driver’s license
