Pay Type: Hourly pay, overtime pay, plus On-Call pay, paid bi-weekly.

  • Starting hourly rate is determined by interview process and prior/current experience.

Core Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 40 hours per week, with available overtime.

Energy Service Technician - Class A CDL or Class B CDL - Essential Responsibilities:

ALCIVIA is seeking a skilled Energy Service Technician to install propane tanks and related equipment for residential, commercial, and agricultural members. This role includes performing routine maintenance, regulator upgrades, leak checks, and other service work while delivering exceptional customer support. You’ll work closely with a team of Energy Service Technicians to serve the local territory.

This position includes a company Service Body Truck and requires a Class B CDL, as daily local routes and on-site service are part of the role.

  • Deliver outstanding, courteous customer service to build strong, positive member relationships
  • Install, repair, and maintain propane systems and equipment in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Install and exchange propane tanks
  • Dig and install gas lines
  • Perform propane regulator upgrades
  • Conduct general maintenance on equipment and propane lines
  • Complete safety inspections for public and commercial buildings to ensure compliance with policy and regulatory standards
  • Maintain a zero-preventable-accident record
  • Coordinate daily routes with the scheduler and manager to ensure timely job completion
  • Accurately record and maintain all required documentation
  • Assist with maintaining delivery and customer records
  • Ensure all daily paperwork is completed accurately
  • Promote and support the sale of ALCIVIA products
  • Maintain the service vehicle, including reviewing maintenance records, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, and reporting any issues affecting safe operation
  • Secure truck contents by locking the cab and cargo areas when not in use
  • Fill in as an Energy Delivery Driver (Bobtail truck) as needed, operating safely and efficiently
  • Support cross-divisional collaboration whenever possible
  • Assist other areas of the business as workload allows
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Energy Service Technician - Class A CDL or Class B CDL - Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Class A or Class B CDL
  • Clean driving record
  • Tanker and Hazmat endorsements (assistance available to obtain)
