Facility:
This is a specialized gastroenterology surgery center that focuses on advanced GI procedures. The facility features 11 beds and provides comprehensive gastrointestinal services in a state-of-the-art outpatient setting designed for patient comfort and clinical excellence.
Opportunity:
Board Certified - Gastroenterology
Job Details:
• Handle approximately 20 patient encounters per shift in a busy GI practice
• Perform upper GI endoscopy with biopsy capabilities
• Conduct foreign body removal procedures during endoscopy
• Perform injection of varices during endoscopic procedures
• Esophageal dilatation/manometry skills required
• Conduct small bowel biopsies
• Perform comprehensive lower GI endoscopy
• Conduct both flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy
• Perform colonoscopies with biopsy and polyp excision capabilities
• PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy) skills preferred
• Must maintain active Florida medical license
• Board certification required with ACLS and BLS certification
• Rapid credentialing available (estimated 1-day timeframe)
