To perform body contouring, practitioners typically need to hold a valid esthetician, cosmetologist, or medical professional license, depending on state regulations. Additional certifications in specific procedures, such as laser or radiofrequency treatments, may be required or recommended. It is important to check local licensing laws and obtain proper training before offering body contouring services.
