Position Summary
Dana Safety Supply is seeking an Outside Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with police departments, sheriff's offices, federal agencies, and other public-safety organizations. This role focuses on promoting and selling products and solutions designed for law enforcement operations, including vehicle equipment platforms, tech, and installation services. This position also includes selling tactical equipment. The ideal candidate understands the law-enforcement environment, procurement processes, and the unique operational challenges agencies face.
Primary Responsibilities
Business Development: Identify and engage potential customers within public safety and law enforcement sectors.
Product Promotion: Sell a full line of upfitting products (cages, consoles, mounts, etc.) and "soft goods" (tactical gear, duty gear, clothing, and body armor).
Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term partnerships with new and existing clients.
Technical Consultation: Conduct onsite visits, equipment demonstrations, and professional product consultations.
Sales Operations: Prepare quotes, bids, and formal proposals for customer inquiries or RFPs.
Collaboration: Work alongside in-house technicians and project managers to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
Market Awareness: Stay current on industry trends, compliance standards, and local market dynamics.
