Job description

Individual serves the Athletic Department as an athletic trainer. The incumbent is responsible to provide comprehensive athletic training services to the football program or other teams as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer. Incumbent will assist Head Football Athletic Trainer with the coordination of the overall organization and administration of the Duratz football Facility; maintain accurate medical files; assist with maintaining accurate inventory and control of all supplies and equipment; assist Head Football Athletic Trainer with scheduling and follow-ups of medical appointments, diagnostic testing and professional consultations; liaison between physicians, coaches, parents and athletes in regard to injury prevention, care, management, treatment and rehabilitation; maintain a positive learning environment for clinical education of athletic training students.
