What is boat insurance?

Boat insurance is a specialized type of insurance policy designed to protect you financially in the event of damage, theft, or liability involving your boat or personal watercraft. It typically covers physical damage to your boat, including theft and vandalism, as well as liability for injuries or property damage you may cause to others while operating your boat. Depending on the policy, it may also include coverage for equipment, trailers, and even emergency towing.
