Job description

Marina Sales Associate
 

The Marina Sales Associate is a dynamic, multi-faceted role responsible for supporting marina operations, marine sales and customer service. This position plays a key role in the sales of boats, dock systems, and boat lifts while also assisting with day-to-day marina, rental, and service operations. On-the-job training is available for the right candidate.
 
This is a year round position.  This job requires working one weekend day and holidays during the summer.  Hours are flexible 24-40 hours/week. 
Responsibilities
 
  • Sell new and pre-owned boats 
  • ShoreMaster dock and lift sales, design, ordering, and installation
  • Follow up on sales leads and customer inquiries 
  • Coordinate customer demonstrations and test drives
  • Prepare sales quotes, financing and registration paperwork 
  • Maintain the indoor and outdoor showroom and displays 
  • Organize off-site boat shows and promotional events 
  • Keep inventory, pricing, and website listings current 
  • Build relationships with existing and prospective customers 
 
Secondary Responsibilities

  • Pick up, launch, haul and deliver boats 
  • Support boat rentals including fueling, inspections, customer orientation
  • Support service and parts department 
  
Qualifications
 
  • Strong customer service skills 
  • Sales experience preferred 
  • Interest in boating and the marine industry 
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office, CRM, etc.) 
  • Organized and self-motivated 
  • Ability to trailer and maneuver boats
  • Boat license (or willingness to obtain)
