Job description

Now Hiring: Marine Transport Specialist (Boat Delivery)

Lake to Lake Rentals is looking for a hardworking, high-energy individual to join our team for the 2026 summer season! If you love being on the move, spending your days near the water, and navigating the scenic roads of Northern Michigan, this is the perfect gig for you.
As a Marine Transport Specialist, you are the face of our company. You’ll be responsible for ensuring our fleet gets to our customers safely and on time so they can get out on the water.
The Details:
  • Pay: Competitive Hourly Rate.
  • Location: Based in Northern Michigan (servicing various lakes and docks).
  • Type: Seasonal / Summer Position.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Transporting: Safely hauling, launching, and retrieving various boats between our hubs and customer locations.
  • Customer Service: Providing a friendly "hand-off" to renters, ensuring they are comfortable with the vessel before they take off for a fun day out on the water.
  • Inspections: Performing quick pre- and post-rental checks to ensure the equipment is in tip-top shape.
  • Problem Solving: Staying sharp in a fast-paced environment where logistics can change in a heartbeat.
  • Cleaning: Making sure our customers receive the pristine equipment that our company is known for by detailing boats inside and out.

Requirements:
  • Trailering Expertise: You must have documented experience towing and backing up trailers. We operate in tight boat launches and busy marinas; precision is non-negotiable.
  • Ultimate Flexibility: This isn't a 9-to-5. Our schedule fluctuates based on rental volume, weather, and delivery windows. Some weeks will be packed, while others are lighter.
  • Reliability: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
  • Physical Stamina: You’ll be on and off boats, securing straps, and working outdoors in the Michigan summer sun.

Why Join Us?
  • The View: Your "office" changes every day, from Walloon Lake to Burt Lake and in between.
  • The Pace: It’s a fun, active environment where the days fly by.
  • The Culture: We’re a team of water-lovers who work hard so our guests can play hard.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour.

Work Location: In person.
