Job description

Pleasant Harbor Marina is currently looking for a qualified individual to join their team. Under general supervision, this position performs boat launch and retrieve services for marina guests. This position deals directly with the customers so individuals in this position must be customer service focused, detail oriented, hardworking, honest, reliable, and punctual.

JOB DUTIES

  • Using a tractor or fork lift, move boats from storage areas into the water. Retrieve boats from the water and place back into storage area.
  • Cleans and maintains areas surrounding facilities and related equipment.
  • Makes equipment adjustments and reports any serious problems.
  • Assists with operational tasks in other areas as needed.
  • Identify and report and health and/or safety hazards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Ability to safely and efficiently operate a forklift, tractor, boat, and other heavy equipment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • Requires lifting up to 75+ pounds, extended periods of bending, stooping, squatting and twisting
  • Capable of working outdoors during seasonal heat and/or cold or other adverse weather conditions
