Overview

Boardwalk Honda is part of Group 1 Automotive, a Fortune 250 company and one of the fastest-growing leaders in automotive retail. We are seeking an Automotive Sales Consultant to deliver an exceptional customer experience, build lasting customer relationships, generate new business opportunities, and achieve sales goals. Boardwalk Honda was named one of 2025's best dealerships to work for and we are south jersey's only President's Honda award winning dealership.


Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate vehicles by explaining features, benefits, and warranties; conduct test drives and compare competitive models
  • Prospect daily for new customers and maintain relationships with previous buyers
  • Maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
  • Implement follow-up systems to encourage repeat and referral business
  • Stay informed on product updates, inventory, and accessories to better serve customers
  • Set and achieve personal sales goals aligned with dealership standards

Qualifications

  • 2 years of sales experience in the Automotive industry preferred.
  • Outstanding communication skills in both verbal and written.
  • Confidence in your ability to be successful.
  • A desire to work in a commission, performance-based, environment.
  • Great attitude with high-energy personality.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.
  • Self-starter and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work well in a process driven environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record.

Compensation: The range in yearly compensation reasonably expected for this position is $60,000-$100,000/year. Hourly or commission pay plans available.
