Job Summary

Reporting to the Head of Purchasing, the Senior Buyer is responsible for seeking, signing, developing, and leading vendor relationships. Through strategic targets established in collaboration with the Head of Purchasing, you will identify business opportunities and fill gaps in the product portfolio. You will act as the relay between vendors, internal teams, and sales channel managers to ensure the success of your brands. develop a global network within the Asmodee Group.

What will your role involve

Industry Insight & Networking

  • Attend key trade shows and industry events to stay ahead of market developments
  • Identify emerging trends and help translate them into actionable insights
  • Build and nurture a strong global network within the Asmodee Group

Vendor Relationship Coordination

  • Support contract discussions and product selection processes
  • Manage purchase order creation and ensure timely follow-up
  • Track vendor performance and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
  • Conduct research on new products and suppliers to stay current with industry developments and ensure continued market relevance

Data Analysis & Inventory Optimization

  • Monitor market and sales trends to support purchasing decisions
  • Help optimize inventory levels to balance availability and cost efficiency
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at reducing excess stock and improving turnover

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Finance, Marketing, and Sales teams
  • Support accurate forecasting, billing, and reporting activities
  • Contribute to alignment across teams to support business objectives
