Job Summary

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Senior Account Manager develops and maintains relationships with customers by analyzing their needs and suggesting products that suit them. He constantly does research to develop his customer's pipeline. He develops strategies to drive sales, meet target by training others sales associate on products and assist them if necessary. Be an ambassador for health and safety.
He acts as a carrier of the values of the organization. He performs all other related tasks, all in accordance with the internal procedures and rules of the organization.

Role and Responsibilities
  1. Sales and customer service - 80%
  • Develop new customers for the company.
  • Suggest new suitable titles to clients to increase our market share within the client base.
  • Establish direct and regular contact with customers, follow up and take orders, or add to existing orders.
  • Prepare a call schedule with each customer, to ensure that each customer is contacted on a regular basis.
  • Coordinate with the CSR Team, issues with customer shipments, to ensure the customers receive replacement products or credits as necessary.
  • Inform and educate the customer on new products: propose certain products, promote regular sellers, big titles, advise the customer by being attentive to their needs.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, ensure timely delivery and accuracy of orders. Provide courteous and professional customer service.
  • Coordinate shipments with the warehouse, according to various aspects such as release dates and location.
  • Achieve the sales target set forth as per the sales managers.
  • Initiate and coordinate the implementation of a new field marketing offensive in collaboration with the internal team.
  • Provide a targeted clientele with consulting services in merchandising, employee training and in-store demonstrations.
  • Organize courtesy visits in person or virtually present targeted games in person.
  • Manage new or renewal agreements for major accounts in collaboration with management.
  • Review account performance regularly, to ensure customer potential is maximized. Using a ranking system to ensure strategies are implemented based on customer needs.
  • Inform customers regarding any marketing promotions, opportunities and materials that are made available for the retail store level.
  • Have an understanding of your primary customers' stores in regard to product selection, who are their customers and upcoming and past events in their store.
  • Manage your schedule and priorities independently to cover a territory of minimum 4 million sales.
  • Manage a coop budget envelope, in collaboration with their sales Manager.
  • Offers coverage during vacation or absence of a colleague.
  • Ability to travel within Canada.

  • Possess a Post Secondary Diploma in Business Administration or have 5+ years of relevant experience*.
  • Passionate about board games and quick to learn new games.
  • Fully bilingual for employment in Quebec office.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Experience in sales to large retail chains (an asset).
  • Knowledge of Sales Pad software (an asset).
  • Analytical thinking, creativity, sense of urgency, and quick thinking.
