It involves ideation, prototyping, playtesting, refining game mechanics, creating artwork, and often coordinating manufacturing and distribution. Board game developers collaborate with artists, writers, and playtesters to ensure the game is fun, balanced, and market-ready. The process can range from independent creators developing passion projects to teams working in established gaming companies.
