Job description

This position will support the Palliative Care department.
Summary:
  • The Board-Certified Chaplain (BCC) is a full clinical member of the health care team and is considered the lead expert in Spiritual Care issues.
  • Provides services for the pastoral/spiritual needs of patients, families, and staff members.
  • Knowledgeable in theology, spirituality, and pastoral care.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Required Certification is NAJC (National Association of Jewish Chaplains) or APC (Association of Professional Chaplains) or NACC (National Association of Catholic Chaplains).
  • Required Education is a Master's Degree from and Accredited University in Theology Related. 4 units, 1600 hours of Clinical Pastoral Education.
  • Required - Ecclesiastical endorsement.
  • Board Certification required

This position requires Level II screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, managed by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA). More information can be found at https://info.flclearinghouse.com.
