SAP MM Functional Consultant (BOA / Procurement Focus) Remote
Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Blanket Order Agreements (BOA) and procurement processes to support enterprise SAP initiatives. This role will work closely with business stakeholders to design, configure, and optimize SAP MM solutions aligned with procurement and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead SAP MM functional design and configuration, with a focus on procurement and BOA (Blanket Purchase Agreements)
  • Gather and analyze business requirements related to:
    • Purchasing
    • Vendor management
    • Contract and agreement management
  • Configure and support:
    • Outline Agreements (Contracts & Scheduling Agreements)
    • Blanket Purchase Orders (BOAs)
    • Release strategies and pricing conditions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SAP FICO, SD, WM/EWM) for end-to-end process integration
  • Support full lifecycle implementations (design, build, test, deploy, support)
  • Lead UAT sessions, defect resolution, and user training
  • Provide production support and continuous improvement recommendations
  • Develop functional specifications for custom enhancements and integrations
Required Qualifications
  • 5-10+ years of SAP MM functional experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Blanket Purchase Orders (BOA) / Outline Agreements
    • Procurement lifecycle (PR โ†’ PO โ†’ GR โ†’ Invoice)
  • Experience configuring:
    • Pricing procedures
    • Release strategies
    • Vendor master data
  • At least 1-2 full SAP implementations
  • Strong understanding of integration with SAP FICO (AP/Invoice)
  • Ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA
  • Exposure to Ariba or external procurement tools
  • Knowledge of inventory management and logistics execution
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., manufacturing, defense, ITAR environments)
  • Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
