About the Role

The Validation Engineer is responsible for leading, coordinating, and executing validation activities in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), corporate quality systems, and applicable regulatory requirements. This position will be work closely with Quality Assurance, Engineering, Manufacturing, Facilities and Automation.

As a commissioning Consultant, you will assist project teams delivering building commissioning services. Develop and ensure adherence to a detailed commissioning schedule and plan. Cover all aspects of pre-commissioning and startup phases through handover. This job is part of the Building Consultancy function. They are responsible for specialist building services including surveying, inspections, and planning.

This role will be on-site at our client's campus three to four days a week.

Responsibilities
  • Support manufacturing, facilities, utilities, equipment, and computerized systems.
  • Ensure commissioning and validation activities comply with FDA and global CGMP requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with data integrity principles (ALCOA+).
  • Own and develop change controls (change management), protocols, testing execution, reporting, and risk assessments.
  • Oversee the commissioning process for building systems. This includes HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Controls, Building Management Systems (BMS), and Low Voltage.
  • Reviews construction-related design documents, designs, submittals, specifications and O&Ms for approval. Write custom checklists and detailed testing procedures.
  • Deliver building commissioning services for small to large projects.
  • Review and develop construction project-related reports and deliverable documentation for review and approval.
  • Performs on-site observations, inspection, testing, validation, and verification of building systems.
  • Facilitates O&M staff training sessions.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
  • Impact a range of customers, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams
  • Work within broad guidelines and policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
