Job description

Quality & Data Analyst – Minitab / SAP
$35–$40/Hour | 12–24 Month Contract | Potential Permanent Employment

Location: Axis, AL Area
 Schedule: 40 hours/week; up to 50 hours as needed

Are you the person who notices the details everyone else misses? We are looking for a highly analytical, precise, and detail-driven Quality & Data Analyst to support quality systems and production operations within a large-scale manufacturing environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, analyzing results, supporting quality systems, and using statistical tools to solve problems.

What You'll Do
  • Assist with development and maintenance of control benchmarks and plans
  • Help develop and maintain related work instructions and certification requirements
  • Support the setup and management of measuring devices 
  • Assist with training equipment managers on systems and processes
  • Perform and support sampling and analysis
  • Analyze data and assist with identifying trends, variations, and opportunities for improvement
  • Apply basic statistical concepts to support quality and manufacturing decisions
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure processes meet established quality requirements
What We're Looking For
The right candidate will be:
  • Highly analytical, precise, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working with numbers, data, and statistical information
  • Experienced with SAP or similar business systems
  • Experienced with Minitab — strongly preferred
  • Knowledgeable in basic statistics and data analysis
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Familiar with quality systems, manufacturing processes, or continuous improvement
  • Able to follow detailed procedures and identify inconsistencies or errors
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with engineers, quality professionals, and production teams
  • A strong communicator who can document findings clearly and accurately
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • College or technical degree preferred
  • Experience in data analysis, quality, manufacturing, calibration, statistics, or process improvement preferred
  • Experience with measurement systems, calibration, GR&R, or quality documentation is a strong plus
