Certified Nursing Assistant

Position: Certified Nursing Assistant

Department: Med/Surg 2B

Schedule: 32 hours, evenings, every other weekend, part-time, benefit eligible

Location: BMC South

Job Requirements

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Required:

Must possess a valid Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant license or show proof of enrollment in an accredited nursing school and completion of the courses "Fundamentals of Nursing I & II."

Experience:

  • Prior CNA experience preferred
  • Computer experience is preferred. CPR.

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of medical terminology is required. Ability to communicate effectively in English with staff and patients is required. Must be able to prioritize multiple requests to ensure timeliness and provide exceptional patient care. Must possess the skills to be compassionate, empathetic and responsive to the needs of a variety of patients.

Compensation Range:

$17.62- $26.18

This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer.
