Our team seeks a highly motivated embedded software engineer to design and develop Bluetooth Firmware for Apple’s next-generation products.

As a firmware engineer in the Bluetooth Controller Team, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing of firmware, and bringup of innovative, fresh wireless silicon for various Apple products - the iPhone, Mac and more! Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with 10+ years of hands-on industry experience in embedded systems or related disciplines
Deep expertise in Bluetooth technologies, including protocol stack internals, wireless communication standards, and experience optimizing for power, performance, and reliability
Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for resource-constrained environments
Solid foundation in embedded hardware platforms, including microcontrollers, SoCs, and embedded processors, with demonstrated experience in low-level hardware interaction such as register-level programming, peripheral interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C), and hardware bring-up
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $258,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
