Job description

Houston, TX

Test Infrastructure, Software Development, Automation

Fulltime

Allthenticate is changing the way security feels and functions, prioritizing usability to create the most enjoyable experience for our users. Imagine a security product that’s not just necessary but a delight to use. That’s what we live for.

We’re looking for more brilliant people to join our world-class team. Let us know why you are the teammate that we’ve all be dreaming about working with.

What You’ll Do

You’ll build the systems that let us ship security software fearlessly. Our product spans a Rust core, a FastAPI backend, a Vue 3 web app, a desktop application with various low-level authentication integrations, and a Flutter mobile app – and every one of them has to work perfectly, every single time, because people use us to unlock their doors and their laptops. You’ll write real features across that stack and build the test infrastructure that proves they work, so the whole team can move fast without breaking the things that matter.

Responsibilities

You’ll work across our stack and own the quality of what we ship. Expect to be doing a subset of the following:

Designing and building end-to-end test infrastructure with Playwright, Selenium, and Docker that runs reliably in CI and locally

Shipping features across the stack – FastAPI services in Python, performance-critical work in Rust, Vue 3 interfaces, and Dart for mobile

Building test harnesses for hardware-backed authentication flows, including Bluetooth and cryptographic key handling

Containerizing test environments so a full system can be spun up, exercised, and torn down on demand

Hunting down flaky tests and race conditions, and fixing the root cause instead of the symptom

Reviewing code across languages and raising the engineering bar for everyone around you

What We’re Looking For

An insatiable desire to build something awesome

Strong experience building automated test infrastructure with tools like Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or pytest

Fluency in Python and comfort with a typed systems language – Rust experience is a big plus

Hands-on experience with Docker and modern CI/CD pipelines

Familiarity with a modern frontend framework – we use Vue 3 – and a willingness to work in Dart for mobile

A generalist streak: you’d rather learn the unfamiliar part of the stack than hand the problem to someone else

A willingness to learn new skills and teach others what you already know

Ideal Superpowers

Experience testing across platforms – web, desktop, iOS, and Android – from a single suite

Async Python at scale (asyncio, FastAPI, WebSockets)

Rust in production, especially FFI or cross-compilation to mobile targets
