Position: Part-Time Microschool Teacher
Organization: Sure Foundations Learning Center
Location: 13031 Taney Place, Crown Point, IN
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Pay Rate: $30 per hour
Hours: 15 hours per week

About Sure Foundations Learning Center

Sure Foundations Learning Center is a microschool focused on providing personalized, small-group learning experiences for students. Our mission is to integrate a unique foundational blueprint with the child’s HEART (Spiritually/Biblically) SOUL (Who the teacher created to be) and MIND (Academically). Sure Foundations helps students thrive through whole-child, faith-guided learning so the teachers can become confident and successful life-long learners.

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dependable part-time teacher to support our morning academic program. The teacher will lead small-group instruction and help create an engaging learning environment that supports each student’s individual growth.
This role is ideal for educators who enjoy flexible teaching, creative lesson planning, and working closely with small groups of students.

Key Responsibilities

The part-time teacher will:

  • Lead morning academic instruction in core subjects such as reading, writing, and math

  • Facilitate small-group and individualized learning

  • Create engaging, hands-on learning experiences

  • Support students’ academic and social-emotional development

  • Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment

  • Collaborate with the microschool leadership on lesson planning and student progress

Qualifications

Ideal candidates may have:

  • Teaching experience in elementary or microschool environments

  • A passion for personalized and student-centered learning

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Creativity and flexibility in lesson planning

  • A background in education, child development, or related fields (preferred but not required)

Compensation
  • $30 per hour

  • 4 days a week M-Th

  • 3 hours per day: 9AM to noon

  • 12 hours per week

  • Weekly Pay: $360
