Job description

Job Summary

Bluefrog Plumbing + Drain of Metro Fort Worth is seeking a skilled and professional Journeyman Plumber to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for performing residential and/or commercial plumbing service, repair, installation, and maintenance work while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is dependable, motivated, and committed to quality workmanship and professionalism.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and install plumbing systems and fixtures
  • Perform residential and/or commercial plumbing service calls
  • Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs, recommendations, and pricing
  • Maintain accurate service records, invoices, and job documentation
  • Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety standards
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in clean working condition
  • Participate in on-call rotation and emergency service calls as needed
  • Collaborate with dispatchers, office staff, and management to ensure excellent customer experience
  • Uphold bluefrog Plumbing + Drain company standards and core values
  • Mentor apprentices and helpers when assigned

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of plumbing field experience preferred
  • Residential service plumbing experience preferred
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing plumbing systems
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Experience using tablets, mobile apps, or digital invoicing systems preferred

Skills and Qualifications

  • Valid Texas Journeyman Plumbing License REQUIRED
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Knowledge of plumbing codes and safety procedures
  • Ability to lift equipment and work in various physical conditions
