Job Summary
Bluefrog Plumbing + Drain of Metro Fort Worth is seeking a skilled and professional Journeyman Plumber to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for performing residential and/or commercial plumbing service, repair, installation, and maintenance work while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is dependable, motivated, and committed to quality workmanship and professionalism.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and install plumbing systems and fixtures
- Perform residential and/or commercial plumbing service calls
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs, recommendations, and pricing
- Maintain accurate service records, invoices, and job documentation
- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety standards
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in clean working condition
- Participate in on-call rotation and emergency service calls as needed
- Collaborate with dispatchers, office staff, and management to ensure excellent customer experience
- Uphold bluefrog Plumbing + Drain company standards and core values
- Mentor apprentices and helpers when assigned
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of plumbing field experience preferred
- Residential service plumbing experience preferred
- Experience diagnosing and repairing plumbing systems
- Customer service experience preferred
- Experience using tablets, mobile apps, or digital invoicing systems preferred
Skills and Qualifications
- Valid Texas Journeyman Plumbing License REQUIRED
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Knowledge of plumbing codes and safety procedures
- Ability to lift equipment and work in various physical conditions
- Clean driving record preferred
License/Certification
- Texas Journeyman Plumber License REQUIRED
- Valid Driver’s License REQUIRED
Education
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Trade school or vocational training preferred

- Monday – Friday
- Weekend availability and on-call rotation as needed
