Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans addressing pre-crisis and crisis situations, behavioral standards, risk assessments, medication treatment plans, and more.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines.
  • Utilize evidence-based screening tools as directed by the clinical team to assess patient needs effectively.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans, ensuring cohesive care and consistent communication.
  • Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes to support the clinic's operational standards.
  • Serve as a liaison to various service systems, state agencies, and community partners, advocating for patients' needs and resources.
  • Manage effective communication within the team and with external partners to uphold contract standards and fulfill organizational goals.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with local, state, federal, and private agencies to promote services and identify new partnership opportunities.
  • Invest in personal and professional development by attending conferences, engaging in relevant education, and representing the agency in various forums.
  • Promote the core values and mission of the agency in every aspect of your work while contributing to overall organizational goals.
  • Perform additional duties as needed, collaborating with the Clinic Director to address organizational needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with individuals facing emotional challenges, those in recovery from substance use, and clients with various behavioral health issues. Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is a prerequisite for this position.
  • Possession of a valid, independent LMHC license issued by the state board of Connecticut is essential.
