Blue Sky Bank is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Credit Analyst II to join our team in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

As a Credit Analyst II, you'll play a key role in evaluating borrower financials, assessing risk, and supporting lending decisions that keep our loan portfolio strong and compliant. This position offers exposure to moderate to advanced credit analysis, allowing you to expand your expertise while collaborating closely with lending teams across the bank.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with lending staff to support credit underwriting and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial and risk analysis for new and existing commercial relationships.
  • Prepare detailed credit memorandums and maintain consistency in underwriting documentation.
  • Analyze financial statements, cash flow, and key performance metrics using bank systems.
  • Evaluate loan collateral and risk factors, including A/R aging reports, borrowing base certificates, rent rolls, loan covenant compliance, on-site collateral inspections, as needed.
  • Monitor loans post-approval-track covenants, identify risks, and support renewals/extensions.
  • Provide industry comparisons and insights to strengthen risk assessments.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, including privacy, legality, and non-discrimination.
  • Help develop efficient processes for loan approvals, closings, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
  • Collaborate across departments and maintain strong internal and external relationships.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or other business-related fields or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of credit analysis/underwriting experience.
  • Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, qualifying motor vehicle record report, and reliable transportation.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of credit analysis/underwriting.
  • Sound judgment with a keen eye for risk identification and mitigation.
  • Ability to interpret complex financial data and present clear, concise recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively while demonstrating leadership qualities.
