As an LCSW at Blue Ribbon Social Work, you will take on critical responsibilities that directly contribute to successful patient outcomes, including:

• Providing empathetic psychotherapy to individuals facing mental health concerns linked to substance abuse recovery.
• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based best practices.
• Facilitating therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), specifically designed for patients in recovery.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records in compliance with healthcare regulations to ensure optimal patient care.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate comprehensive care and recovery initiatives.
• Educating patients and their families about mental health resources and the recovery process, fostering a supportive and informed environment.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest research and integrate new methodologies into practice.
• Managing your caseload effectively to meet treatment goals while adhering to ethical standards of practice.

You will work with a diverse population of patients battling substance abuse and related mental health issues. This role requires strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with individuals who may be vulnerable and in need of trauma-informed care. Your expertise will be essential in guiding patients through their recovery journeys, helping them to achieve their personal goals and regain control of their lives.

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience with a focus on substance abuse therapy.
• Strong understanding of solution-based interventions and therapeutic techniques.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with patients and colleagues.

While mandatory experience is a minimum of one year in substance abuse therapy, candidates with additional experience in related areas such as trauma-informed care and crisis intervention will be looked upon favorably. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms can enhance the efficiency of your practice.
