What is the opportunity?

What will you do?

  • Assist with the development of automated test plans & solutions to meet clients' growing needs for automation and enhancing process controls & governance.

  • Create plans for, update, and execute QA testing.

  • Support programming testing tools for internal use.

  • Maintain and provide accurate testing status reports during testing phases.

  • Maintain documentation of test results according to defined tools.

  • Support of upgrades to the testing environment.

  • Automate reporting processes by using the combination of tools of Blue Prism, VBA and SQL.

  • Apply data warehouse concepts and methodologies to various projects.

  • Confirm that projects adhere to development standards and guidelines.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus on computer science, technology, or engineering.

  • Leadership acumen and a passion to apply it in a dynamic business environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to learn and absorb new concepts (in business and in systems) quickly and apply new knowledge.

  • Strong MS Office skills - Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Strong systematic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-have

  • Automation Expertise (Blue Prism, etc.) and experience using BI Tools including Tableau, Elastic.

  • Prior experience in data integration of disparate data sources.

  • Relational database concepts and design experience.
