Blue Collar Apprentice Jobs in Ohio (NOW HIRING)

We’re hiring an experienced Residential HVAC Installer to handle replacement and retrofit installations throughout Central Ohio. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants steady work, strong earning potential, excellent benefits, and room to grow.

What You’ll Do

• Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless systems, and IAQ products
• Complete residential replacement and retrofit installations
• Measure, fabricate, modify, and install ductwork and fittings
• Perform system charging, startup, testing, and final performance checks
• Troubleshoot installation issues and complete minor repairs
• Read blueprints, schematics, equipment specifications, and installation instructions
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
• Protect customers’ homes and communicate professionally throughout each project
• Complete job documentation using tablets and digital systems
• Work independently or with an installation helper/team

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
• Strong replacement and retrofit installation experience
• EPA Section 608 Certification; Type II or Universal preferred
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Experience with ductwork, HVAC tools, gauges, recovery equipment, and installation procedures
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Professional customer service and communication skills
• HVAC trade school or apprenticeship training preferred
