Are you ready to take the next step in your restaurant leadership career? Blue Bridge Market is looking for an Assistant General Manager who is eager to grow, lead, and make an impact-someone who's moved beyond a supervisor role and is ready to develop into a future General Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced airport environment where teamwork, adaptability, and leadership development are key.
What You'll Do
As Assistant General Manager, you'll work side-by-side with the General Manager to keep operations running smoothly while building your leadership skills every day:
  • Support the GM & Team: Partner closely with the GM to lead day-to-day operations and ensure a seamless guest experience
  • Lead by Example: Step into a leadership role on the floor-coaching, motivating, and supporting team members
  • Develop Your Skills: Gain hands-on experience in scheduling, inventory, cost control, and performance management
  • Drive the Guest Experience: Help ensure every guest receives fast, friendly, and high-quality service
  • Build Team Strength: Assist in training and developing team members, helping create a positive and accountable culture
  • Step Up When Needed: Confidently take the lead when the GM is off-site or unavailable

Position Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of experience in a full-service restaurant.
  • Obtain and maintain current Serve Safe Food Manager's Certification within six months of hire/promotion.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, climbing on a ladder, and walking long distances.
  • Standing for long periods and the ability to work in an environment with varying temperatures.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in hotel/restaurant management is desirable. A combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative.
  • Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports.
  • Must agree to work various shifts in a 7/365 team-oriented environment. The schedule is determined by business needs.
  • Proficiency required in reading and writing, Microsoft Office Suite, and mathematics.
