Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver – Blowing Rock

Direct Support Professional (DSP) – $16.00-18.00-/hr + $1,000 Signing Bonus (Paid throughout the year/Must Avg. 20 hours per week to qualify for Bonus.)

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As a DSP, you will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently. What You’ll Do

As a DSP, you will provide hands-on support that helps individuals build independence and confidence. Being a DSP is a rewarding experience – you will genuinely make a difference in somebody’s life. Responsibilities will include:

· Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals

· Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks

· Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities

· Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication

· Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills

· Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment

· Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties (case managers, etc.) as needed

· Complete documentation and maintaining schedules

· Complete ongoing training and professional development

· Must be 18 years or older

Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required – we provide paid training and support

Pay & Signing Bonus

Starting Pay: $16.00-17.00-/hour

$1,000 signing bonus paid in 3 installments when averaging 20+ hours/week
