Job description

  • Approaching work with a Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset, and engaging in Producers Dairy Mission Statement to identify, value, prioritize, resource and sustain improvement opportunities.

  • Owning and promoting a Safety Culture by ensuring a safe work environment and promoting proper safety behavior.
  • Effectively operates blow mold/extrusion machine, maintaining quality standards for all bottles produced using good manufacturing procedures.
  • Maintains proper weights, quantity ordered, leak checks and bottle wall thickness.
  • Maintains flow of bottle to filler at all times to prevent downtime or reduced filler efficiency due to lack of bottles.
  • Possesses good working knowledge of blow mold to assist in maintaining blowmold in good working conditions as well as trouble-shooting problems.
  • Sampling/testing resin for quality.
  • Helps Maintenance, when possible, fix problems and reduce downtime.
  • Writes work orders when repairs cannot be made while equipment is in operation.

  • Excellent attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this positon.
  • Other duties as assigned
