We are the engineering team behind the world's largest over-the-counter (OTC) electronic trading (ET) platform encompassing Fixed Income bonds, ETFs, Interest Rate Swaps (IRS), and Credit Default Swaps (CDS). We offer end-to-end trading workflows including price discovery, real-time analytics/pricing, execution, allocation, and straight-through processing (STP), all fully integrated with the Bloomberg Terminal and enterprise solutions.

As a senior software engineer you'll join a full-stack, UI-focused engineering team that's reimagining how clients interact with Bloomberg's Electronic Trading products. You'll need to have:
  • 5+ years of experience working on the front end building intuitive UIs with TypeScript/Javascript.
  • A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, similar field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment using agile methodologies
  • An understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms, as well as CI, CD and unit testing
  • A strong sense of ownership and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to drive projects and initiatives.
  • An open mind to new technologies and practices

We'd Love to See:
  • Experience building user-facing trading or financial applications
  • Experience with React or other modern frontend frameworks
  • Experience contributing to shared platforms, component libraries, or workflow-driven systems
  • Good understanding of Test Driven Development
  • Experience leading projects with multiple stakeholders and evolving requirements
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary Range = 160,000 - 240,000 USD Annual + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
